Gorsedd Circle The Gorsedd Circle is a stone circle in Fishguard, Wales. The Gorsedd Stones are a Welsh tradition of modern stone circles constructed for the National Eisteddfod of Wales. These stone circles can be found at several locations, including Aberdare Park and Anglesey. They are typically 20 metres wide and have 12 stones on the circumference with a level stone in the circle. A further stone is usually set back from the circumference; the central stone is called the Logan Stone. Coordinates 51.996431,-4.975040 Stone Circle Gorsedd Circle is a typical stone circle but has 13 stones on the circumference with one inset. It was erected in 1936 and has the names of the parishes inscribed on each stone. Ceremony During the opening ceremony, the Archdruid stands on the Logan Stone facing the Stone of the Covenant. Two stones mark the entrance and are called the Portal Stones. These mar k the midsummer and midwinter sunrises. Gorsedd Circle (no edit) Archeology7...
Xochicalco
Xochicalco is a pre-Columbian archaeological site in Miacatlán Municipality in the Mexican state of Morelos.
The site was first occupied by 200 bc but did not develop into an urban centre until the Epiclassic period 700-900 ad. Nearly all the standing architecture at the site was built at this time. At it's peak the city may have had a population of up to 20000 people. The site was said to be destroyed around 900 ad and later colonised with Nahuatl-speaking Tlahuica people. Teotihuacan and Maya art are abundant and may have been included from 1200 ad onwards.

Description
The northern buildings are at 15°, the western buildings at 12° with the southern buildings at 0°.
At least two ball courts exists, one aligned at 12° and one at 0°, the largest building is the Pyramid of the Stele and Chamber of the Scarifice which is on a six layer platform and has seven layers.
In front of the Pyramid of the Stele at an altitude of 1340m is the Pyramid of the Feathered Serpents and Observatory at an altitude of 1328m, the Plaza Principal is towards the north and part of the area angled at 15°, this has an average altitude of 1354m.
The solar observatory is said to track the sun during the summer for 3½ months, peaking in May and July.

Analysis
If the pyramid of the Stele is at an altitude of 1340m, which is 12m more, then it is possible that the 3½ months is half the number of layers (7) in 12 months The Plaza Principal is 14m more again or 26m total difference.
The significance of 3½ or half 7 layers is that 15 multipled by 12 equals 180, 180, being half of 360° (1 rotation), and also π and 2π.
Conclusion
Due to the alignment east/west, this could represent maximum tilt 1985 with either 12 or 15 representative of an angle or more probably a year. With these numbers around max tilt suggesting in the year of max tilt (12° as the 12 months), the duration was 15 months (15°).
The ratio 15÷12 equals 1.25 and, as a year, equals 1179 ad, 900 ad as an angle is 1.682°

For the 15°/12° to connect in this way, most of the builds who have to be completed around 1200 ad, this would not connect with archaeological dating of burning.
For 900 ad and 1.682° to be correct, the ratio would have to be divided by a further number. This number is 0.743.
(15÷12)÷0.743=1.682°
This is also 1250÷743
1250÷743=1.682°
The following is speculative but accounts for 0.743 also as an angle, a gnomon measurement can use any distance but if 1994 units are used at 0.743° then the area is 25781 which is 9 away from 25772 the duration of max/min tilt, also the distance is 9 greater than 1985.
From above 1.682° can be obtained from 15 divided by 9 (more accurately 8.9), but the site is at 15°/12°/0°.
This is significantly near to suggest it is accurate if it wasn't for the site construction being dated in 900 ad. The use of π suggests half a rotation with 2π as one, this also connects to maximum/minimum tilt duration as 25772 years, and together suggests that the site was built with the intention of representing maximum tilt (1985) whether this was in stages or from the offset is unclear.
