Tomb of Seti I The tomb of Seti I, also known as KV17, is located in the Valley of the Kings. The pharaoh Seti I died in 1279 BC. His tomb was discovered by the archaeologist and explorer Giovanni Belzoni in 1817. Coordinates 25.740031, 32.601998 Description Seti I had many buildings built, which included the Temple of Seti I in Abydos. The tomb KV17 consists of 17 chambers, corridors, and side rooms and is considered one of the largest. There is a well near the entrance of the tomb; the corridor descends into the tomb and is designed similarly to other tombs. Decorations are found throughout most of the tomb. The tomb and side chambers are on the level of the well, with a further corridor that ends in a room at a lower level. (The measurements used are given in official documents) Total area of tomb: 649.04 sq m / 2373 sq cubits Burial chamber width: 13.19 ft / 25.22 cubits Distance to burial chamber: 290 ft / 88.382 m / 169 cubits Distance to the end of the tomb: 570 ft / 173.74...
Pyramids - Khufu's
It has been shown that the ancient Egyptians in 2589 BC understood Earth's rotation at the equator. For this to be accurate, they would have had to ascertain the correct circumference along with a time measurement.
Although it is normal today to use seconds, did the ancient Egyptians use them?
Is it possible that the pyramids' height and base connect to the circumference?
Khufu's possible height in metres/cubits: 146/279.16
Base perimeter in cubits/per side: 921.2/230.3
Circumference at equator in kilometres: 40075
Elliptic ratio
The following shows that if they wanted to use 43,200 (12 hours), they could connect it to their elliptic ratio, but the circumference would still have to be increased, here using the pyramid's height (for each version) rather than the base perimeter. (Height variations are from measured and predicted.)
(Height + circumference) ÷ 12 hours = ratio
138.8m
138.8 + 40,075 = 40,213.8
40,213.8 ÷ 43,200 = 0.930875
Convert to meters
0.930875 × 1000 = 930.875m
143.5m
40,218.5112 ÷ 43,200 = 0.9309
0.9309 × 1000 = 930.98m
146.4m
40,221.4 ÷ 43,200 = 0.93105
0.93105 × 1000 = 931.05m
The measurements have shown that the shafts in the pyramid connect with the shorter height, but all heights link with the elliptic radius (in metres and distance to Khafre's pyramid) to within 17.5 cm, using (circumference + height) ÷ 12 hours (43,200 seconds) × 1000.
The difference in circumference needed for these numbers was due to converting height in meters directly to kilometers.
Example:
146.4 m = 146.4 km
146.4 km + 40,075 km = 40,221.4 km
Circumference
If considering the rotation in kilometers as 0.4651 and a sidereal day as 3 minutes and 56 seconds short of a number day, then the following would apply:
0.4651 × (86400 - 235.5) = 40075
The reduction shows that 86400 seconds doesn't represent a day, but rather 86164.5 seconds.
A 40075 km circumference + (235.5 seconds × 0.4651) = 40184.64 km
This, though, gives a number 0.8 short of the elliptic ratio and an added height of only 109.64 m. This 0.8 number, as a 0.8 ratio, could have been included in Menkaure's pyramid ratio as base divided by height as a sign of incorporating an error into another pyramid. The number 109.64 is another error. 146.4−109.64=36.76 represents a difference of 25.1% of the overall height, which might have equated to the Queen's chamber positioning, off the base of the pyramid.
Base Perimeter ×%
Khufu's pyramid perimeter could also be used along with the ratio of the circumference divided by 922.704 km, giving 1/43.432. Multiplying by 1000 increases it to 43432 and using this number instead of 43200.
Multiplying by the perimeter gives a number close to the polar circumference, and adding 360 as one rotation gives a ratio of 931.
40075 ÷ 922.704 = 43.432
43.432 × 1000 = 43432
921.2 × 43432 = 40009.56
(40075 + 360) ÷ 43432 = 931
This could be the polar circumference, but the number is 2.56 km off. This error could connect to Khufu's pyramid entrance. This faces north, and along with the small golden ratio from which the number 922.704 km is derived.
The difference in perimeter subtracted from the baseline gives 1.504 km. Dividing by 1000 equals 1 meter + 1 cubit - 1.912 cm.
This 0.504 number also connects Menkaure's pyramid slope with the other slopes and the cubit (0.504 + 0.01912 = 0.523).
Conclusion
It has been shown that a height of 146.4 meters produces an elliptic ratio of 931 plus a separation of 0.5. This is 279.92 cubits.
It has also been shown that the seconds in a sidereal day multiplied by the angular rotation equals the circumference.
The circumference is connected to the elliptic ratio but is 0.8 short. This error might have been included elsewhere with other numbers suggesting the Queen's Chamber.
If considering the base perimeter percentage, then the circumference plus 360° divided by that number gives the ratio.
Although at the equator, the circumference is 40,075 km, at 29.97° longitude it is 34,707 km. It is possible to achieve the same ratio.
40,075 × cos(30) = 34,705.968 km
The equatorial rotation is 0.4651 km/s. If the value is multiplied by two,
0.4651 × 2 = 0.9302 km/2 seconds
(0.9302 × 43,200 = 40,184.64)
If using the circumference plus the height and then dividing by ½ the seconds in a day, then the ratio and separation are achieved.
(40075 + 146.4) ÷ (43200) = 931.05
Or
(40075 + 280) ÷ (43200 + (235.5 ÷ 1.618)) × 1000 = 931
