Gorsedd Circle The Gorsedd Cir cle is a stone circle in Fishguard, Wa les. T he Gorsedd Stone s are a Welsh tradition of modern stone circles constructed for the National Eisteddfod of Wales. These stone circles can be found at several locations, including Ab erdare Park and A nglesey. They are typically 20 meters wide and have 12 stones on the circumference with a level stone in the circle. A further stone is usually set back from the circumference, the central stone is called the Logan Stone. Coordinates 51.996431,-4.975040 Stone Circle Gorsedd Circle is a typical stone circle but has 13 stones on the circumference with one inset. It was erected in 1936 and has the names of the parishes inscribed on each stone. Ceremony During the opening ceremony, the Archdruid stands on the Logan Stone facing the Stone of the Covenant. Two stones mark the entrance and are called the Portal Stones. These mar k the midsummer and midwinter sunrises. Gorsedd Circle (no edit) Archeology77 ©
Arbor Low
Meaning
There is a possibility of it being forward offset so as to be able to include the number 3600.
If it is offset by the angle of 37° then 2 stones align at 37°, if not then 2 stones point east/west which align at 4°.
Using the angles and the 3600, the following is produced with the years coinciding with known solar eclipses.
(1694 bc/1906)
(1677 bc/1923) and 1970.
From the two measured widths of 295 ft and 279 ft and angles, the following numbers are produced from the sums.
Using simple numbers:
295÷171×100÷30=5.75
279÷131×100÷30=7.099
If these numbers are considered as coordinates, the 5.75 could be split to equal 5°/75° and 7.099 would equal 7.0°/99°.
Arbor Low is a Neolithic henge monument in the Peak District, 295 ft long by 279 ft wide.
It is considered a stone circle and, like many circles, represents a mathematical number or coordinate and direction.
There are 28 stones on the circumference with 2 others in the middle. A ditch runs around the outside and is important in size to the measurements that are in feet. There is a somewhat random positioning of the stones, but this is because of what it represents. The stones are also installed horizontally, unlike other stone circles.

From these, two locations are derived. A small adjustment is made for 5.75, so as to be 5.55, and the locations are.
Brokopondo, Suriname (5°/-55°)

Ko Petra (7.0°/99°).
(There is also a possible connection of 5° longitude and latitude from Callanish Standing Stones with a 0.02° difference).
Conclusion
The angles give dates in this circle with the widths giving coordinates.
This probably equates to a Lunar precession and most probably a Lunar eclipse with locations and solar eclipse with an Antarctic path.
The Moon's eclipse lasts for varying durations and varies, whether in total or partial shadow called umbra and penumbral.

The Moon's eclipse lasts for varying durations and varies, whether in total or partial shadow called umbra and penumbral.
For example, in 2020, there wouldn't be any umbra eclipses. An annular eclipse shall occur on the 21st June, the summer solstice, and a penumbra in November.
When in shadow, the area on the surface where an eclipse is visible varies from 'all eclipse visable' to eclipse at 'MoonRise'/'MoonSet' or 'no eclipse visable'.
The shape of these eclipses on the surface is similar to an arc, and the width depends on the duration. If two points are defined on the surface, they most probably represent an umbra where a total eclipse is visible or depending on width where no eclipse is visible.
On 29th/30th Nov 2020, a penumbral eclipse shall occur, and the two defined locations Brokopondo, Suriname, and Ko Petra fall as marker points on the edge of a 'no visible eclipse'.
Solar eclipses are referred to as Annular Solar Eclipse, Partial or Total and follow a different pattern mostly due to the size of the sun, with these usually being a short arc which can fall in any location in either hemisphere.
The dates (1694 bc/1906)
(1677 bc/1923) and 1970 are paired and correspond to dates of a solar eclipse, 1970 probably pairs with 1630 bc.

The date of 1630 is extracted from the circle by the difference from offset to the angle of Ko Petra mark on the stone and the total number of stones.
(37-21)+30=1630
In 1970, two eclipses occured, one annular (6.48mins over central/north America) and one total (3.28mins over Papua New Guinea).
(The small adjustment could be so as to represent a location on land (nearest point), building 5° by 5° from the Callanish Standing Stones might have been intentional, hence connecting the two sites).
